Fatshark has always had terrible balance in their Vermintide games but it was at least remedied by the fact that each character generally had an OP subclass, but there’s no subclasses in this game(yet?) There’s a lot of technical issues right now. Ideally the best team would just be 3 Veteran’s and 1 Ogyrn if you wanted to min-max. The only thing the Veteran doesn’t do better than the other classes is tanking and crowd control.
Why is the ranged specialist the best special killer? Psyker can also get bent. Why is the ranged specialist also the best melee character in the game with the best melee weapon? Guess the Zealot can get bent. It’s also the only class except for the Ogryn that seems immune to nerfs. The veteran is so blatantly overpowered right now it nullifies any other class in the game.
